PRINCIPAL

Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, I moved to Pittsburgh in 2015. I feel very fortunate to have had a broad architectural experience with projects ranging from university work to hospitality, from master planning to single family residential and to everywhere in between.

Whether creating a building, a space, or a piece of furniture, I am driven by a love for making. I am equally happy using a hammer or welding as I am using a computer mouse.

After my undergraduate education at Cornell University and several years of professional practice, I obtained a post-professional Master's degree in Architecture from Yale University where I was able to pursue my love for craft, teaching, graphic design and typography, among other things.

When I am not designing or building something, I am spending time with my wife and two sons, hiking, baking bread, or learning something new.
